STREETS & STAGES

what do we do if someone falls?
we pick them up!

Have you ever found yourself bumping into others in a mosh pit or charging mindlessly to the front during a wall of death?

For me, only one thing surpasses those feelings—the moment when anyone falls during a concert, everything stops, and someone pulls them up! (The fun part is that as soon as they’re standing, they get pushed back into the moshpit).

Nothing beats the feeling that we’ve got each other. That is the genuine sentiment behind those bad-ass, chain-mail-wearing giants; we are always a family. Interestingly, this is the same sentiment that fills up the streets. While some alleys may seem dangerous (I encourage you to always take care and pay attention to your surroundings), you can find genuine people who won’t leave anyone behind.

Once, a very dear person shared a tale from someone living on the streets. He said, ‘We never deny someone’s cry for help. If they need food or anything, even if we don’t have much, we share.’

Struggle, passion and the pride to stand up for what you are—those are the things I love about urban art and concerts.
